A fabulous holiday island, the Isle of Man has over two hundred square miles of beautiful countryside and an enviable coastline of fascinating coves and enchanting beaches. Of these the resort of Douglas is amongst the most popular, it has a gorgeous golden beach, horse drawn trams which echo of an almost forgotten era and attractive, tempting shops. There are opportunities for fishing, cruise boats take you on sea trips to explore the island's magical coastline or you can join the Isle of Man Steam Railway to visit Port Erin. To the west of the island lies Peel where you can visit the 'House of Manannan' to discover the story of the island from Viking times through to Victorian days.
