Sherrington Stables is on the edge of the enchanting hamlet of Sherrington with its picturesque watercress beds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
It is a delightful, well equipped, single storey cottage which makes a charming and relaxing retreat.There is one bedroom with a queen size (5 foot) bed and the living room has an imported American (Castro Convertibles) queen size sofa bed. Ideally suited for a couple, or a couple with two children, or two couples as long as one couple are happy with the sofa bed.
Peacefully set in the grounds of the owner's three hundred year old thatched farmhouse it has wonderful walks right from the door and is within easy reach of Stonehenge, Avebury, Longleat House and Safari Park,(15 mins) Stourhead House and Gardens (National Trust), Wardour Castle, the antique shops in Bradford-on-Avon, the ancient market town of Shaftesbury, Salisbury(25 mins) and Bath (40 mins) are easily accessible too.
The coast, with Studland Bay and Poole are an easy drive away (approx 1 hour) with Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Chesil Beach, Corfe Castle and West Bay making wonderful day's outings.
