River Tyne near Mill Dam, South Shields, Tyne & Wear.
Two tugs are moored near Mill Dam on the south side of the river while opposite a DFDS Seaways Ferry is waiting for passengers at North Shields. Further up the river one can see the cranes and a ship awaiting loading at Tyne Dock .
