Roseberry Topping, newton under Roseberry, North Yorkshire was originally named after the Norse God 'Odin' and it's name has undergone changes over the years. n 1736, when Captain Jame Cook was still a young boy, his family moved to Airey Holme Farm just to the south of Roseberry Topping. For the first five years he was there he attended the local school in Great Ayton. This Image was taken at sunset in September as stormy clouds drifted into the landscape.
