Lepe is a beautiful coastal location within the New Forest, Hampshire. Its attractions are a nice beach, cafe, good size car park, lighthouse, old Lifeboat house and lots of World War II ruins. This picture shows the old World War II Jetty on a part of the beach that was a hive of activity during 1944. Parts of the Mulberry Harbour were constructed here. And the Pluto pipeline also passed through here on its way to Normandy. There's also a 1950's nuclear bunker in the car park.
