About Little End

Little End is an 18th Century renovated Cotswold stone cottage. It is situated by St Chloe Green adjoining National Trust Rodborough Common and Amberley village.
It is between Minchinhampton, Woodchester and Nailsworth, off the A46. It can sleep 6 (in 2 twins and one double) and has every facility for a relaxed break in the country. It has a lovely walled cottage garden with a conservatory at the rear. It has a beautiful outlook over the Woodchester Hills and surrounding areas. It is quiet and well set away from main road traffic. It has space adjacent to the property for parking 2 cars.
Local amenities include 2 pub restaurants within walking distance. The cottage is just a couple of miles or so from the facilities of Nailsworth. Here and a little further away at Stroud you will find branches of large supermarkets incl a new ALDI two miles away and some lovely independent shops. Stroud also boasts the national award winning Stroud Farmer's Market held on Saturday mornings.
The cottage is supplied with bedding and towels. The layout comprises:
on the ground floor, a lounge area with wood burning stove, an adjacent dining area with seating for 6, and a large well equipped kitchen with an electric range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer; on the first floor there is a twin bedded room with ample storage, a double bedded room with an en suite shower, WC and basin, and a family bathroom with both bath and shower and with WC; on the top floor there is a large lounge with TV; DAB radio and plenty of comfortable seating, and off this is a twin bedded room.
There is central heating and free Wifi at the property. Mobile phone reception is generally good. Please note that there are steep staircases at the cottage and we therefore do not accept bookings which include children under 5 years of age.
