About Bagendon

Bagendon is a small picturesque village in the Cotswolds, just 4 miles north of the wonderful market town of Cirencester.

The village has a pretty and interesting church, St Margaret's which is a Grade I listed building which is often subjected to floods.

The famous novelist Hilda Gregg was born in Bagendon in 1868.

According to records in the Domesday Book, Bagendon had a population of 11 households in 1086
