About Hell Barn Cottages, Rosemary

Sleeping 4 people, Rosemary is the end cottage of three located in a stone built 18th century barn, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. It has a spacious lounge/dining room with Freesat TV and dvd player. The kitchen is equipped to Tourist Board 3* standard. The bathroom is also downstairs and comprises toilet, basin and shower over the bath. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with velux windows and a second twin-bedded room.
Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge, as is all electricity and heating. Cots and highchairs are also provided on request. There is ample parking space close to the cottage. There is a large mature and attractive shared garden, suitable for playing or relaxing, and a games room and play area for children. Changeover day for this cottage is a Friday and guests are welcome after 2pm on the day of arrival and requested to leave by 10am on the day of departure.
For nature enthusiasts there is a large variety of birds and wild flowers on the surrounding paths and fields, including some badger setts nearby. There are many miles of delightful footpaths to explore, including the fine coastal path with its views over the 'Jurassic coast'. Also nearby are the famous fossil beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis, and the harbour of West Bay, which offers boating, sea fishing and is better known to many as 'Broadchurch'. Bridport is the nearest town, with a traditional street market, vintage quarter, tours of the local brewery and an excellent swimming pool and leisure centre. The nearby village of Chideock boasts 2 pubs, a shop and post office, with a couple of larger supermarkets and all other amenities 3 miles away in Bridport.
In fact, being only a mile off the main road, yet wonderfully peaceful, this is the ideal location for access by car to many attractions in Dorset, Devon and Somerset.
