About West Ridge Bungalow

WEST RIDGE stands in more than 1.5 acres of its own lawns and gardens just a mile or so from the sea at Seaton, set in the midst of the spectacular rural and coastal scenery of East Devon. From its elevated situation it commands beautiful and extensive views of the Axe Valley and Estuary and the sea itself.
The ACCOMMODATION comprises a main bedroom (with a king-size double-bed, which can, if preferred, be separated into two single beds); a lounge which can also sleep 2 in single-beds, without impinging upon the sitting and TV area; a large kitchen/living-room with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer (plus a gas-fired Aga cooker which is used in the early Spring and late
Autumn). A washing-machine is available on request. There is also a Bathroom, with separate toilet.
There is a large GARDEN with a paddock/orchard to the rear. This part of the garden looks to the North over lovely rolling Devon countryside - a particularly attractive and peaceful area. There is an ample supply of garden furniture and plenty of space for car parking. There is LEVEL ACCESS from the driveway to the entrance of the bungalow.
THE SITUATION -- The East Devon and West Dorset coastline is now officially listed as a natural World Heritage Site - the only one in England. The area has been given this unique designation because of its outstanding landscape and geological features.
Close at hand are Axmouth, Beer and Branscombe; Lyme Regis is 12 minutes and Sidmouth 15 minutes by car. The area is an excellent centre for walking, sailing, fishing and golf. It is also ideal for making day trips Eastwards into the Thomas Hardy country of West Dorset, and Westwards towards the Cathedral City of Exeter, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Torbay and the Dart Valley.
West Ridge is 40/45 minutes drive from the M5 junctions at Taunton and Exeter.
PLEASE NOTE- There is full gas-fired central heating and double-glazing throughout.
There is no charge for use of gas and electricity
The bungalow is self-contained and fully equipped
The beds have duvets, blankets and bed-linen (Please supply your own towels)
There is satellite Television, with a full Sky Sports package included. Also a VCR/DVD player.
