About Bracken Tor

YHA Bracken Tor is set in 4 acres of private grounds within Dartmoor national park and offers free parking, free WiFi access, a self-catering kitchen and a TV lounge. Adventure Okehampton is a 20-minute walk away and offers a variety of outdoor activities rock climbing, watersports and archery. For keen cyclists, the property also has direct access onto the The Granite Way bike route. Some rooms feature a garden view and bed linen is provided. Rooms have either an en-suite or a shared bathroom and many have a seating area. Originally built in 1908, YHA Bracken Tor offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Other facilities offered include a shared lounge. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling and hiking. Located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, the hostel is less than a mile from Okehampton Railway Station. Okehampton Castle and Okehampton Golf Club are just over a mile away.
