Description

Millers Dale

This mill was used to grind meal for animal fodder. It belonged to the Devonshire Estate and was worked by several generations of the Dakin family. They bought the freehold in the late 18th century. For many years the mill was run by the two brothers. Both died in the winter 1912/13. The mill closed in 1920.

Another interesting shot Karen, I like the heritage shots. Looks like it has been static for a while now.
