Sunset House B&B is found just outside the Cumbrian market town of Penrith, and less than 20 minutes’ drive from the Lake District National Park. It offers comfortable accommodations in a pretty, traditional cottage. The Sunset serves an excellent breakfast, with produce sourced from a local farm. Guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast delivered to the comfort of their room. Spacious rooms have en suite showers and are located on ground-floor level, looking out over the garden and fields beyond. Newton Reigny is a small, rural village around 7 minutes’ drive from Penrith, which was once Cumbria’s capital. The town has a rich history, with Brougham Castle dating back to the 13th century, and Penrith Beacon high above the town, looking out over the Lakeland hills.
