About Wayside Guest Accommodation

The Wayside and Whisky Barns is located on the South West coast of the Lake District National Park at the base of Black Combe and 3 miles from Silecroft beach. It has free parking, a well stocked bar including numerous malt whiskys and a restaurant serving home-cooked food. Dating back to 1637, this converted barn retains many of its original features. The individually styled bedrooms boast character with private bathrooms, free WiFi and a TV. Tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries are also provided. The property serve a choice between full English, vegetarian and continental breakfasts. With prior notice they can also provide packed lunches. Walking, biking, and horse riding can be enjoyed in the local area. Popular water sport activities include sea kayaking and wind surfing. The house offers secure storage sheds for equipment. The nearest airport is Manchester Airport, 111 miles from the property.
