About Olde Blue Bell Cottage

Converted from an 18th century coaching inn, Olde Blue Bell Cottage is cosy, comfortable and full of character.
It has 3 bedrooms, a double and two twin rooms. There is a contemporary bathroom, equipped with a large bath and powerful shower. The downstairs comprises a spacious lounge and a seperate kitchen-diner.
A mixture of stonework, wooden beams and natural wood has been used to give a relaxing yet rustic feel. A cast iron, coal effect fire makes the lounge a really cosy room in which to unwind after a day on the fells or touring the lakes. A flat screen television with DVD, wireless bluetooth speakers with radio and superfast broadband are all provided.
The kitchen was hand crafted by a local joiner, and is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric cooker with halogen hob. We keep the kitchen stocked with all the basic provisions you need to make holiday cooking a little easier.
Full gas central heating ensures the cottage is cosy at all times, and you can set the thermostat to ensure the cottage is the right temperature for you. There is an enclosed courtyard garden for dining al fresco.
A welcome pack will guide you around the local area; fresh tea, coffee and milk will be left to greet you from your journey.
Walk from the door to enjoy Heversham’s beautiful views and stunning sunsets over the Lakeland fells and estuary. The quaint market town of Kendal is on the doorstep, with Windermere the closest lake and easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and villages. The cottages are an ideal base for walking, cycling, and bird watching or just chilling out!
