The on-site restaurant serves daily meals. The bar offers real ale and features a fireplace. The YHA Coniston Coppermines’ location is ideal for mountain climbing and walking, with routes to both the Old Man and Weatherlam directly from the front door. The area also offers longer hikes towards Langdale and Eskdale. Further outdoor activities include canoeing or sailing on Coniston Water. The town of Windermere is 9 miles away. Access to the property is via a 1 mile long, unsurfaced track. Free private parking is available.
