About Greenfoot Barn

Greenfoot Barn and the adjacent owners' house stand in 15 acres of garden, paddocks and woodland. Surrounded by farmland, we keep horses and other pets.
Double glazing, oil-fired central heating and a multi fuel stove contribute to what we hope will be a comfortable stay. The 2 bedrooms are generously proportioned, made light and airy by Velux windows. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, washbasin and toilet. The open plan ground floor comprises a lounge with dining area, adjacent to a well-equipped kitchen. French windows lead out to a patio area with table and chairs.
We are just 8 miles away from the City of Carlisle and 12 miles from Penrith. Closer to home, the village of Dalston has a selection of shops and other facilities. Our location offers you the choice of easy access to the North Lakes or the Border Country, both of which are about 30 minutes' drive.
If you choose to explore near to home you will be rewarded with plenty of good walks and an abundance of wildlife. The Cumbrian Way and River Caldew are a few hundred yards from the property.
Please contact the Owner if you would like information about the cost and availability of a Short Break.
