This delightful character cottage, new to the holiday market in 2014, ideally situated close to the town centre, is only a 10 minute walk from the South West Coastal Path, close to Botallack and Crown mines,where Poldark was filmed. The cottage is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of St Just which has a number of pubs,cafes and art galleries, including Kurt Jackson's stunning new gallery 2016. A local butcher, baker and greengrocer selling fresh local produce are all a few minutes walk away.The property sleeps 4, with an extra futon for occasional 5th person. There is a front garden with enclosed back courtyard - a wonderful suntrap for the afternoon sun. The accommodation comprises a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove in autumn & winter, CD player, TV and radio, and free Wi-Fi. The separate dining area is a quiet space to complement the practical kitchen. There is a useful loo outside in the back courtyard. Upstairs has two good-sized double bedrooms and a recently refurbished, spacious bathroom.
The property, has free Wi-Fi, television, a cable, + with current TV licence, to connect when you bring your own computer screen.
This lovely cottage is ideally suitable for two couples or a family with 1-3 children.
West Cornwall has beautiful surfing beaches close by at Sennen, and further north near St Ives and Newquay. Lovely swimming and calmer seas are only 20 minutes drive away at Penzance and along the south coast. The South West Coastal path - 10 minute's walk away - is a walker's paradise. Other activities nearby include riding, windsurfing, golf, rock climbing at Kernow Coasteering, and centres such as the wonderful outdoor Minack Theatre and The Eden Project..
