Setting up some preferences on your 'My Account' page

Before you begin exploring the site, uploading your pictures, chatting in the forum and so on, you may wish to set-up some account preferences, such as whether the site should display your username or real name, upload a personal avatar to represent you in the forum (a graphical image or photo), and you may wish to add some 'About me' text to your profile so others get to know a little bit about you.
Your 'My Account' page also allows you to change your password and keep your email address up-to-date.

You will find the 'My Account' link under 'My Menu' on the right-hand side of the site when logged in:

Your 'My Account' page allows you to do the following -

Edit your real name, Edit your Date of Birth, Edit your country, Change your password, Edit your display name, Change your avatar, Select which emails you receive, Edit your website, Edit your profile (about me text).
