The interior is a kaleidoscope of colour and architectural features including a fan-valuted nave with hanging pendants and lanterns ; a golden facade to an elaborate Rood Screen on top of which a pair of six-winged angels stand sentinel beneath an ornate "Christ in Majesty" suspended above the Rood cross .
