The Cave of Merlin

Merlin's Cave seen here on the beach at Tintagel is only able to be accessed at low tide, but be sure not to be trapped as the tide comes in. On top of the ground above the cave is part of Tintagel Castle.

The Wild Sea.

The sea is showing off it's power at Tintagel Castle and with winds of 65 mph blowing up over the Castle all visits to the Castle were cancelled, with only the shop and cafe open.

Into the land that is Camelot

The pathway here is the way from the village of Tintagel down to the site of Tintagel Castle. If you do not fancy the trek down to the Castle by foot or to trudge all the way back, a land rover service runs back and forth to take the weight off of your feet for a small charge.
