I live in Estacada, a small town in western Oregon at the base of Mt. Hood. My husband and I are retired and expecting our first grandbaby. I love history and especially the history of England and the United Kingdom, which is where many of our ancestors are from.
After working on our family tree off and on for decades, I discovered we have ancestors who were present at the signing of Magna Carta. For a year, I have been making a book for my family about those ancestors. Searching for pictures about where they lived is how I found POE.
This first morning since joining POE, I spent the first two hours of the day just browsing through pictures of Yorkshire, lost in the beautiful scenery, marveling at the talent of the photographers. My sincere thanks to all who have shared their photographs here.
