Picture taken from the bridge.The big building on the far left is where the Castle Hotel used to stand.The building there now looks a lot like the old Castle but not as big. A lot of people over the years had many a good time there,It had two Disco's and you could walk from one to the other,different music,lights,and DJ it was quite amazing. The place was so big it also had a German type Bierkeller a jazz bar called Snoopy's,a ten table pool hall and a large quiet bar.Sadly now all gone, where do all the young people of Richmond go today.

What a difference three decades have made to the town.The buildings on the near left used to be the derelict Palm Court complex its nice to all the boarding down and it looking smart.
