This must have been getting on for fifty years now.
The hump back bridge at the end of this road would not take many cars now.

Wild Life | Photograph taken with a PENTAX Corporation PENTAX Optio Z10 There are no comments on this picture This is a photo you rarely see, this little bird is a House Martin which we think had fledged and then fallen down onto the grass at the front of our house. We put it on the roof of our front porch hoping that mum would encourage him to fly. When I returned from work he was still there, we were not sure what to do when he fell off, but not hurt. My husband picked him up he perched on his hand flapped his wings and took off, at first low to the ground. Would he get over the hedge??? Yes and away he went, what a relief and a joy!
