About Me

I was using an 8MPixel Olympus E-500 DSLR camera; upgraded to the excellent 12.3MPixel Olympus E-620 as of May 2009. I have written my own picture-editing and retouching software, for example for sharpening and despeckling and resizing, and for strange special effects not available elsewhere. Some of this software is available free on my website.

I am a private investor in and mentor to high-technology companies.
I am a director of Parallaxis Ltd. [ see www.parallaxis.co.uk ]
I have an MA in Maths from Keble College, Oxford, and an MBA from Cranfield.

I also teach part-time on under- and post-graduate business degree courses in the Oxford area.
