Rebecca MacDonald's Profile
About MeI am from a small city on the southern shore of Georgian Bay (Great Lakes). This is a beautiful part of Canada but I am never as inspired to take pictures here as I am when holidaying in the Lake District. I guess the saying "The grass is always greener" applies here althought technically speaking the grass is very green here as well. The biggest difference in the landscape is the trees. You really can't see the view for the trees over here and you sometimes have to hike for miles in hostile terrain (bears, snakes, mosquitos) to get a view over the water or over the countryside. In the Lake District, thanks to the mainly treeless terrain, there is literally a picture every time you turn around. © 2001-2008 Pictures of England.com - All rights reserved - Terms & Conditions - Free Pictures |
