Mick Bean(14th July 2011)What a shame, it's been cut down, now only lives in a photo
Mick Bean(23rd September 2009)A lot of coastal defence work at Rye Harbour means huge earth moving machines are always criss-crossing the beach. I took this photo at one of the highest tides of the year making it look odd and out of place.
Mick Bean(21st September 2009)Very nice
Mick Bean(25th November 2008)Are you aware this is the little bridge that Dirk Bogarde writes about in his “Great Meadows” book? A fantastic read, If you like Alfristone your will love the book and the stories Bogarde tells, a little boy living and growing up on the Sussex Downs in a time now lost forever in the past.
Mick Bean(19th November 2008)Great picture. Reflection, depth of field, sky and subject are brill.
Mick Bean(16th October 2008)No, I put the moon in. I took this shot during the day.
Mick Bean(28th September 2008)Sure is Ruth, it was am anamazing late September day and I had it to myself.
Mick Bean(25th September 2008)Why this photo is poor….. I took this without thinking about depth or distance. The horizon on the sea should have been slightly lower or higher than the cliff face making the picture “blend” and not fall into a line pattern as it does.
Mick Bean(19th September 2008)A two inch long car Peter, amazing, could it be a mini ?
Mick Bean(31st July 2008)This picture brings back happy memories, your photo did it for me Ruth
Mick Bean(22nd July 2008)This looks so much like the sky over my house, are you sure it's Merry Hill ?
Mick Bean(18th April 2008)Pity about the bloke who got in the way
