Buckingham Palace forecourt, London - briefly spectacular sunrise over Victoria. I walked along Constitution Hill and as I came round the corner towards the Buckingham Palace forecourt this was the sight that greeted me!

Buckingham Palace, London. Sunrise, 22-11-2006. This was one of the shortest lived sunrises I've seen, within minutes it disappeared, so I wasn't able to drop into St. James Park and get some spectacular sunrise shots from there! This view is from the Victoria memorial.

London Buckingham Palace, seen here from Green Park, Constitution Hill. You have to be up early to see the Sun on the facade of Buckingham Palace, it goes off it around 8:00 to 9:00 AM, so, if that's a bit early, why not enjoy my early morning shot?

Buckingham Palace from St James' Park, London. I think this is the best view there is of Buckingham Palace, but you need to be there before 9:00/10:00 otherwise the Sun will have gone off the front facade.
