M3Wheels(17th October 2014)Thanks for the kind comment. It's the River Derwent I'm looking towards the weir from Derwent St. Bridge.
M3Wheels(13th December 2012)A very ice shot, Vince.
M3Wheels(17th November 2012)Excellent composition and process.
M3Wheels(2nd November 2012)That is the AC 2-Litre, a very stylish car. They were built between 1947 and 1956 in Thames Ditton. The AC car a lot of people in the UK will recognise is the blue 3 wheeler invalid car. Nice bit of HDR.
M3Wheels(2nd November 2012)Light, reflection and view all combine to make this a great image.
M3Wheels(2nd November 2012)great image, love the light and colours.
M3Wheels(2nd November 2012)Great colours and reflection.
M3Wheels(2nd November 2012)Great capture, it really has opened the memory flood gates. The last summer I spent there was just as bracing:)
M3Wheels(31st October 2012)I do use SNS-HDR for tone mapping. With this picture I used Photoshop to edit the RAW file. I Split the RAW file and used it as 2 layers and merged them after editing.
M3Wheels(31st October 2012)Beautiful composition and colour.
M3Wheels(31st October 2012)Beautiful capture, it is as I remember it. I was there in 2002. Was given my first digital camera as a birthday present. Unfortunately, lost almost all the pictures of that holiday when computer failed.
M3Wheels(30th October 2012)Hi, thanks for your interest. The sky was there I just bought it out. It had rained all day, the clouds were low for most of the day. I didn't fancy driving home on the M1 in rush hour. I drove to the back of Bolsover as it was a shot I always wanted to do. It was still raining when I pulled up so, I took the shot from my car just as the sun broke through the clouds.
