8 years Manager of York & District Indoor Bowls Club.
Just over 3 years service with Royal Signals at end of 2nd World War.
Serving with occupation forces in Austria.
Played and Administrated at 3 different outdoor Bowls Clubs since 1967. Sadly no longer able due to the dreaded arthritis!!
Thankfully still mentally alert - I think!!
Still enjoy driving on days and meals out and DABBLE in photography.
Also a Television addict subscribing to all sky channels except Movies
A widower since 1995 and since 2002 residing in a McCarthy & Stone retirement apartment which I consider ideally suitable.
