To the left of the lounge (family room) window on the ground floor, is where Joy Lewis' bedroom was. In my day the lawn to the left was a dirt track that went all the way around the house.

The front of the house showing the dining room, the lounge (family room), the pathway, the low red brick wall with steps up to the lawn. The rustic wooden trellis has a beautiful covering of pink roses during the summer months that Jack and Warnie looked out onto.
