The EMI-LOU.... moored outside the Holt Fleet Restaurant..

This is my 60ft Narrowboat named 'Emi-Lou' after my two daughters. I usually moor in more tranquil locations usually tied to a tree but I did have a good lunch in this restaurant. As you can see it is not a 'Roses and Castles' boat and I made a decision when I fitted it out that I would not be a slave to polishing the brass portholes and mushroom vents, something that I have not regretted !

Holt Fleet Bridge , River Severn

Looking upstream. The bridge was built of iron by Thomas Telford in1828.
