The Barn owl flying low over the grass while trying to avoid the gull that was chasing it. Taken whilst standing on the back of my boat where I had moored for the night.

Barn Owl, Great Doddington.

Well I have a lot to learn about photographing birds in flight. I am however pleased with this shot of a barn owl that was looking for a meal in the long grass in this field. I took a lot of shots but this was the best. I have uploaded the image that produced this picture. You can see the distance that it was taken at.
