I know very little about this county, but this set of pics makes me want to visit the next time I'm in England. Lovely, lovely photos.

Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire

I hate to admit this, John, but the slightly different angle was not for artistic reasons--- this village seems to always have so many visitors, and I had to quickly move to capture no people. Unfortunately I don't know how to edit photos on computer, so I have to position myself correctly. This is why I love the village of Snowshill(coming soon)-- no people!

Clovelly, Devon

Thanks Dave and Vince. Clovelly was not a planned visit on this trip, but we were near, went, loved it, and stayed 2 nights at the terrific Red Lion. I think all the tourists were in St Ives. It was jam packed with people. Clovelly reminded me of a white Robin Hoods Bay.

The Roman Baths, Bath

Thanks Rob, but I have to mention that Bath is the one city that I don't believe can be truly captured in photos. It's so much more beautiful than all of the pics I've seen are able to convey. We thought it the most beautiful city we visited(including London, Shrewsbury, York, and Durham).

Newlands Pass.

Karen I put live video of the drive on Facebook and it scared some of my friends. I had to pull to the side to allow an oncoming car pass. I much preferred this to driving in London(and some of the roundabouts).

Thanks. Cathy. The trip was incredible. I am already starting to save up again for a return visit(would love to see Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset the next time).

Newlands Pass.

Yes you're right, though it wasn't intentional. We had driven the Honister Pass and somehow made a wrong turn in Buttermere and returned back to Grange via Newlands Valley(at least I didn't have to worry about driving on the left since it was such a narrow road!). Thanks for comment, Dave.
