Kip Bennett(17th September 2013)I know very little about this county, but this set of pics makes me want to visit the next time I'm in England. Lovely, lovely photos.
Kip Bennett(17th September 2013)Stunning
Kip Bennett(17th September 2013)Just amazing!
Kip Bennett(17th September 2013)Perfect example of what I love about England. Great pic!

Kip Bennett(17th September 2013)Beautiful pic and place!
Kip Bennett(14th September 2013)I hate to admit this, John, but the slightly different angle was not for artistic reasons--- this village seems to always have so many visitors, and I had to quickly move to capture no people. Unfortunately I don't know how to edit photos on computer, so I have to position myself correctly. This is why I love the village of Snowshill(coming soon)-- no people!
Kip Bennett(14th September 2013)Thanks Dave and Vince. Clovelly was not a planned visit on this trip, but we were near, went, loved it, and stayed 2 nights at the terrific Red Lion. I think all the tourists were in St Ives. It was jam packed with people. Clovelly reminded me of a white Robin Hoods Bay.
Kip Bennett(16th August 2011)Thanks Rob, but I have to mention that Bath is the one city that I don't believe can be truly captured in photos. It's so much more beautiful than all of the pics I've seen are able to convey. We thought it the most beautiful city we visited(including London, Shrewsbury, York, and Durham).
Kip Bennett(16th August 2011)Karen I put live video of the drive on Facebook and it scared some of my friends. I had to pull to the side to allow an oncoming car pass. I much preferred this to driving in London(and some of the roundabouts).
Kip Bennett(14th August 2011)Thanks. Cathy. The trip was incredible. I am already starting to save up again for a return visit(would love to see Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset the next time).
Kip Bennett(14th August 2011)Yes you're right, though it wasn't intentional. We had driven the Honister Pass and somehow made a wrong turn in Buttermere and returned back to Grange via Newlands Valley(at least I didn't have to worry about driving on the left since it was such a narrow road!). Thanks for comment, Dave.
