Rodney Street, known as Liverpool's Harley Street due to the amount of private Doctors practising there. Named after Lord Rodney for his naval victory in 1782. Number 11 is the birthplace of the author Nicholas Monsarrat who wrote "The Cruel Sea" in 1951.

The Liver Bird, Liverpool. Probably a cormorant, with a sprig of foliage in its mouth probably of broom, the "planta genista" of the Plantagenets as Liverpool was granted its Charter from King John in 1207.
