About University Museum of Natural History

Opened in 1860 as a home for the teaching of natural science in Oxford. The Museum, with its glass-roofed court, naturalistic wrought iron work, intricate carvings and ornamental stone shafts, is a fine example of Victorian Gothis architecture.
