Terrific site. I'm really enjoying the pictures. I've been working on my families history and traced it back to Baslow. Not really sure but I think my great great great grandfather was George Hulley. His sons were William, Aaron, Samuel, and Henry. Also had a daughter named Elizabeth. Would appreciate any info, Thanks.

I have just been looking at the pictures of Aldeburgh - how super! Thank you so much. I do love that place and was thinking of living there once upon a time. I'll tell my American nephews about it and they no doubt will send more pictures as they all loved it and ALWAYS visit it when they come over.

I do hope to visit your wonderful green country on day soon - all is dry here in Victoria, Australia. We have had dreadful bushfires and it has been extremely hot. Love the photographs of Kent and other canal areas - my original settlers way back in 1850's came from that area.

I live in the lovely Yorkshire Dales and two lovely parks I have recently revisited are the beautiful peaceful immaculate wellkept park (Peasholm Park) in north bay Scarborough Yorkshire which is truly lovely and (Howard Davis Park) in Jersey U.K which is also delightful and great places to take photographs. I visited Forest of Dean to meet my long lost sister whom I had never met until 2005. She is 54 this year and I am 53 this year. Your country is truly mystical where your mind wonders from the moment you arrive in amazement of its history and dark secrets. I hope to visit with my whole family some day as my sister doesn't travel so we will have to visit her.
