Very interesting site. I'm wondering if my family migrated from this area to the United States. I am planning on visiting Newbury, England next Autumn.

Found this site after my son asked me where he could find some pics of Newbury, Berks where he spent most of his first 16 years before coming to live with me here in the states 15 years ago. This is such a great site, was able to revisit all the places I had been to and visited when I was stationed at RAF Greenham Common from 3/72 to 6/74. My son, Ernie said it was awsome. Thanks!

I am visiting England in July and came across this website, absolutely fantastic! - I am totally captivated by the beauty of the countryside as I am drawn into the "life" of the surroundings. Very informative data and form of continuous reference.

The best site on the web offering breath-taking views of England. We plan on visiting England next year, but after seeing so many captavating areas, I'm not sure where & what I want to visit first. How sad that so many of our ancestors felt they had to leave their beautiful homeland.

I am working on a tourism poster project for school, a poster trying to get people to come to England (I have to explain about and show pictures of 5 attractions in England) and this site was very helpful to find those! My project turned out very well and partly for my sucess I have this site to thank for the good information and pictures, so I was able to add a map and other info and the title, etc. to make a great poster! Thanx!! (Some of these attractions actually made ME want to go to England!!) :D

Is this Wellington Arch the same thing as the Marble Arch, one of the stops on the subway? My husband and I could visit London for only half a day, alas!, at the end of our trip to the Cornwall Coast with his parents, but I am yearning to return for a week and take in the glorious sights.
