I stumbled across this website and love it. The pictures and maps are beautiful and they make feel sentimental as England is where I was born and where all of my relatives live. My family imigrated to Canada when I was a baby (I'm in my mid 30's) but someday I hope to maybe live there and really get to know my aunties and uncles and all of my cousins as I get older...I feel England has been calling me for years.

I love the pictures of the Lake District. I want to go there right now, I can't wait for the summer, when I'm away from school. Thanx for the great site.

I have just begun exploring your wonderful website. My grandparents emigrated to Liverpool from Northern Ireland. They were first married in a civil ceremony in Ireland and then remarried again in 1902 at St. Nicholas's Cathedral. My mother, and her 13 siblings, were born in Liverpool. It was wonderful to see pictures of a city and a country that I have never visited. Thank you so much.

Hello, I am looking for information on The Baggarly Hall. It is in Cheshire, England, I think. It is part of my families history and want to know what happened to it. I have a picture of it from 1984, just before restoration. My grandparent's were from the Mckee family. If you could help it would be most appreciated. Thanks

I visited England four times in my youth and yearn to go back some day (I'm in my late 50's now). Although that might only be a pipe dream, I can now visit through your site. Many thanks for a beautiful and well-produced website.

Thanks for a lovely website. My ancestors came from Cumbria so I was particularly interested in that part of the site. Loved the photos. Beautiful countryside, not unlike here in New Zealand.

Loved the pics on your site. I am interested in finding any information on the Keswick Conferences that were started in the late 1800's, I believe. Are they still being held? Any source for the books about these conferences would be very much appreciated.

When I began researching my family history, I found that most of them were born in Burwash. Family names were Russell and Phillips, do not know if any are still living there. Having looked at the photos of Burwash I must say it looks a very pretty clean place.

We have visited England 3 times in the last 5 years - and we so love your country, we plan on visiting it many more times in the future.
