Was station at Stansted AFB 1955-1957. Part of an Engineer Aviation Battalion (803rd EAB). We built the now existing runway and taxiways over fifty years ago. Am sure that everything has been upgraded many time. Loved my time there.

I absolutely love this website. We visit North Yorkshire at least once a year and are always looking for beautiful photographs of the area. Whitby is our favorite place in Yorkshire but we visit all the villages we can from Ulverston on the west side to Whitby on the east side.
