It's lovely. Congratulations for this marvelous website. In 2005 I visited England and now after seeing the pictures of my Liverpool is a gripping comeback. My heart is here. I miss England really!

This site is a wonderfully lovely tribute to a BEAUTY that is ENGLAND. This is where I go to when I want enchantment, comfort and peace. My dreams come alive in this site. I would love another chance to visit England one of these days.

I love your site. My ancestors on my mother's side the Winn's came from Lincolnshire, North Kelsey, Lincoln, Wraby, and others. Thank you so much. I will visit this site often.

I've been in this site three times and I can't get enough of it. I would say Cornwall is the most beautiful county and Devon, but anywhere a village or hamlet is right by the sea - that has my vote. Your site is stunning, now I know why people say "England my England" it is absolutely beautiful.

I love Riber Castle. My Uncle's name was John D. Smedley also and my ancestors are from England, so it is all very interesting to me. Your site is wonderful.

I used to live in Bognor Regis and still have family in England. I love looking at all the pictures and get homesick at times. Keep up the good work.

This a fantastic site, I am so glad I found it. I uploaded a few photo's of last years trip to the UK and will upload a few more after my trip in November.

An absolutely top quality site. I stumbled on in in search of English history but found myself quickly 'getting lost' in all the other features this site has on offer. One small observation you may already be aware of - getting back to the history content, is that of the six chapters, chapter 4 on 'The Christian tradition' is missing/removed or inaccessible. Please tell me this is not for political correct sensitivities to those relatively new and ever growing parts of British society that for some reason may find the religous aspects of english history intolerable to their views.

Sirs: Your website is absolutely stunning. I love its organization and ability to go from one county to the other at the bottom of the page. I also love the thumbnail option for viewing pictures of each county and also the upload pictures feature for viewers. You have some of the most gorgeous photographs of English countryside I have ever seen on any website. Please, please continue this site and encourage more beautiful uploads!
You have some of the most ...I cannot think of any superlative to express myself... idyllic scenery ever blessed to God's green earth. I have often debated in my mind which of Europe's countries I would choose to visit and tour. Your website has settled it!
Thanks for a most eye-filling pictorial of your country.
Sincerely,
Jon and Martha Heider

I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through this picture site and particularly the scene of places I knew when stationed with the US Army in England during World War II. I spent three years at THE HUT CAMP on Station Road in THATCHAM, Berkshire, my outfit being the 444th Engineer Base Depot Company. If anyone remembers me, do email me at . Your site had only a half dozen pictures of Thatcham and I would sure like to see more, particularly OLD views of the era I was there, perhaps with pictures of that army camp and what it looks like today. If Solomon Pope, a GI who married and stayed in Thatcham, is still alive, please email me - the rest of the outfit wonders about you. Charlie Hoye in Hobbs, New Mexico, USA

Ejoyed your site. While working on family genealogy, I found that John Lindley b. 1615 in Lindenleah, Cheshire County, England takes the name Lindley from Lindenleah. I couldn't find Lindenleah or Linden, but loved the site anyway.
