Bravo! What a wonderful website! We are headed to Shropshire this summer for a month, and will be on a narrow boat for 8 days cruising the Llangollen Canal. Thanks to your site, I have been able to look up great places to stay,(Madeley Manor,for one) and visit. I will be taking lots of pictures with your site in mind. Wonderful site! When I visited England, I had no idea where my Grandparents were from. She was Margret Hodgeson married to William Hunnam. They then settled in San Antonio, Texas. She visited in 1930, I think. I can't wait to visit again. Thanks!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Matlock, England, and thought it to be a quaint, beautiful town. The scenery is spectacular everywhere you go and the people are so nice. I wish I'd had more time to see more of the Peak District. I am definatly going back to visit again and would recommend this area to everyone.

My mother's side is from Hingham in Norfolk; they moved to Hingham, Massachusetts and finally to the Midwest where I live now.
