England is really wonderful. Its castles, lakes and cottages look really magical. But most of all I love the picture of Big Ben in the evening.

I am planning at trip to England this summer. My roots go back to Bishops Stortford where William and Annis Chandler emigrated to American in 1637. In addition to going to B-S I want to tour London and go to the Stonehenge. I would appreciate help in planning my trip

I lived in this town in 1984 and 1985 when I was stationed at RAF Greenham Common. My address was 77 Derwent Road. Is there a picture of that house available? Thanks.

This site is fantastic.I was born in Derbyshire, England, but left there, many years ago, to live & work in several countries. I finally settled in Australia, where I live now. I have spent numerous hours looking at various places, on this site, which have given me much pleasure. The quality of photos & presentation, is of excellent quality. Thank you for compiling this site - easily the best I've found. I have a long way to go, before I see all the photographs. Regards, Celia Webb

In the early '60's we lived in England. I would like to see what it looks like now. My dad was in the air force our address was (I still remember it!) vernons farm, Wakes Colne, Colchester, Essex. It was an estate complete with a ball room and formal gardens a pond,a summer house and a dam turned into a neat lake. It was an old estate we lived in the servants quarters which was not bad. If somebody can help me find this place I would be so grateful I loved it there, thank you.
