Hello,

I have lived here in Perth for 53 years after emigrating in 1964.

Originally from Manchester, with relatives still there and in Norfolk, Derbyshire, Lake District etc,

Now retired we return when we are able and love the countryside with a passion,

Emigrating is a bittersweet journey but one I wouldn't have missed for the world, Australia has been extraordinaly generous to me and

mine , but I need my regular fix from "Home" ???

Cheers, Norman Parke

Hello Norman, welcome to PoE! You've certainly come to the right place if it's a regular fix of home you need, with literally thousands of photos to browse through at your leisure and new ones posted each day. Glad Australia has been good to you - that's great to hear.

All the best,

Chris & Sarah

Helo Norman, welcome to Australia (although I must admit I am about 53 years late in my welcome!) Nevermind. I am an Aussie living in Sydney, but am a confirmed Anglophile (sad, but true). I am glad Australia has been generous to you. We are usually a welcoming lot, despite our treatment of refugees!

This is a beaut web-site: lots of stunning pics of the Old Dart!!

Cheers,

 Phil
