Hi Kirsten,

Welcome to POE. They're a great group of folk and chat forums are a really good way to find out more about this great country called England.

Kristen: me too!  Ever since I was very young, I was fascinated with England.  I thought the redcoats were so cool!  The Royal Navy, the RAF, everything English, fascinated me from an early age.

My great-grandfather was from Thurnham, Kent and I always thought, what a dumb move, to America!  I wish I had thought earlier about moving back to England.  Now that I'm older, they wouldn't want me, as I haven't contributed sufficiently to earn the right to access the NHS, etc.  So I'm stuck here in the US.
