Diana, he was a wild looking TV presenter from way back, but also a very charitable man.

He is an aging ex DJ and radio/television presenter, well known here for 'Top of the Pops' and a TV programme called Jim'll Fix it' where he granted wishes of people who contacted his programme about all sorts of things they wanted to do; for example 'I want to swim with crocodiles in the Nile, and put my head in one's mouth' or 'Sing on stage with Bing Crosby' or some other modern entertainer.

He is still about, as flamboyant as ever, and getting pretty old now.
