Hello everyone, I'm Andrea, 38 and living in Melbourne, Australia.   Ive been in love with the English countryside for as long as I can remember

My Father is from Scotland and I was brought up with British music, books and film, he loved talkng about Scotland but for some reason I have always loved England as well.

In 2002 I was lucky enough to spend 4 months travelling around England, Wales and Scotland and I have been wanting to return ever since.   Why is it that we can feel we belong to another place we were not actually born in?

The pictures on here are beautiful and I'm so glad Ive found this site!

 Cheers

Andrea

Let me be the first to welcome you to the board Andrea.

What a joy it must have been for you in 2002 to spend a whole four months travelling.

I hope you are going to share your pictures of said trip with us.

Looking forward to your participation.
