I have just posted some photos of Southend where I have lived for 10 years, also some of London.

Soon I will be putting some in of my home town Oldham.

Hi Denise and welcome Smile

I imagine it must be lovely living by the sea' Smile After living there for 10 years do you find it has any 'downsides' to it'?  I just wondered, as I believe it is the dream and idea of heaven for many people (me included) to 'live by the sea', although I wonder if it would feel different once living there as apposed to just having say a weeks holiday there?  Smile

Hi there, its ok living here, I didnt like it when I first came but now I do.  We dont really go down to the sea front very much especially in Summer when the holiday makers are there.  We used to like to walk down the pier until it burnt down, we havnt done it since.

I suppose its the same old story when you live somewhere you dont take advantage of everything it has to offer but one thing about Southend it is on the up and is being improved more everyday.

Living by the sea is a living holiday... we do here anyway... we are surrounded by the sea and we just love it.  It is our everyday living to go by the sea, either for a swim, sunbathe, stroll, meet friends, have an ice-cream, there is a life!
