User Introductions/Starting a thread - Please read

Welcome to the PicturesOfEngland.com forums!

This is the User Introduction forum. A place specifically for new users of the forum or site to introduce themselves.
You can simply say 'Hi' or tell us a bit more about yourself.

Things you might want to add are:

1. Name
2. Age (not needed but nice to know)
3. Where you're from (country/town)
4. What you do for a living (if anything)
5. How you came across the forum/site
6. Where your interests lie (travel, photography, history etc)
7. Anything else you might want to add!

Starting a new thread

To introduce yourself, you'll need to 'start a new thread'. To do that, please follow these simple instructions.

1. Navigate back to the forum 'User Introductions' by clicking here, and then when on that page, click the link 'Start a new thread'

2. Now you will see two form fields. In the first form field at the top, labelled 'Thread Title' simply give your thread a relevant title such as 'John from Cheshire' then below it in the second larger form field, which is labelled 'Post', type in your main message.

That's all there is to it! You can now go ahead and click the grey button labelled 'Start Thread' to finish, or if you wish to be kept informed by email every time someone posts a response to your thread, check the box 'Email me when somebody posts to this thread' before clicking the 'Start Thread' button.

Once done, your new thread will instantly go live on the site and hopefully get a few responses.
