I would buy anything that is offered...but I especially love the idea of a POE calendar!!!  They make great gifts too!

Yeah i think Nela is right, they're all great ideas, but the calendar has a more widespread appeal. Lots of passing traffic should mean a lot of interest, mugs etc... although a good idea may have a more limited appeal, really down to just PoE members, as Nela says. And rarther than get into trying to produce everything, and selling 1 of each it would surely be better in the beginning, to concentrate on the calendar idea, and sell a lot of 1 product, this cuts production costs etc....Smile

A calendar would be perfect in my opinion. I would purchase several to give away to family members knowing that it would be supporting POE and I think this says it all. 'It would be an acceptable gift with beautiful pictures submitted by the members' who in turn would take even more care to get the very best shots. Bravo Nela, a great idea!

I'm in - I would buy the calendars for gifts too. It's a great idea. I am happy for POE to use any of my photos if they are good enough.

Just one legal point before we think about going ahead - we will have to make sure that the pictures of certain places can be used for "financial gain" eg. some interiors of houses and some English Heritage and National Trust places do not allow it unless it is for the benefit of English Hertitage or National Trust.

I'm in!  So many fantastic pics to choose from though. can I suguest a picture show on cd or dvd with sound track. Something to put on when you need inspiration or if you're are an ex-pat, a little piece of home?
