My sister and BIL will be in England for a few days.  They will be in a hotel in Stevenage.  Will not be driving though.

 

does anyone have any suggestions for things for them to see??

Hi Roses, have a look at Jo's pictures of Fairlands Valley park at Stevenage, I myself had to go to Stevenage a few months back, this park is very nice!

thanks everyone!  the only thing i could suggest to them was the butterfly park somewhere i think in bedford...old warden i think. 

they were planning on going to stonehenge, but for some reason, their tour was cancelled.  i think they might find if there is another tour maybe going there.   

and they were not exactly fond of my suggestion of duxford, yet i loved it!

Oxford is beautiful! Of course I grew there so I am biased.

The architecture is wonderful, and within a short distance it's the resting place literary greats J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S Lewis (among other famous folks).
